Camp Cranium is a non-profit organization that helps kids with brain injuries, run mostly by volunteers. As part of my Bar Mitzvah project, I have decided to raise awareness and funds for this wonderful organization. There is a week-long summer camp in the Poconos where these kids with brain injuries get to experience the fun of summer camp. During this week, and through the support of a 1:1 counselor that each child has, they get to experience the fun of rock climbing, zip lining, swimming in a pool and roasting marshmallows by a campfire. In February, I got the chance to spend time with some of these kids on the slopes of Jack Frost Mountain with Camp Cranium's Adaptive Ski Team. It made me so happy to see the smiles on these kids' faces when they felt the rush and excitement of on skis or in a fancy cart as they made it down the mountain. I have set a goal of $830, which pays for one child's entire week at Camp Cranium. There are 2 ways you can help! 1)Consider joining my team, Ben Robinson & the Fun Runners and come RUN WALK ROLL with us on April 22; or 2) Please make a donation to this amazing organization!
